Keegan and his friend Lilly. Look who's walking now! He has finally decided he can do it and there is no turning back. Sunday morning he decided he would head to the front while the Murphy family was preparing to sing the special. I didn't even know he was gone until someone tapped me on the shoulder and by that time he was almost to the platform!
When Janette Castle and I go to Woman of Worth meetings David and Trint do the daddy daycare thing together. Everyone enjoys the arrangement. Cayden, Keegan, Christopher, and Blake had a great time. They all went on a bike ride and to the park.
Cousin Katie and Cayden down on Monument Circle enjoying a Starbucks. Cayden looks forward to Katie coming every weekend. He thinks being cousins is like being in a very special club. Every time he meets someone new that he especially likes he refers to them as his cousin.
Keegan and Daddy. Two of my very handsome Spivey men.

Family Day in Downtown Indy

What better way to spend a windy April Friday than on the Canal Walk in downtown Indianapolis as a family. We try to regularly schedule Fridays as a "day off" since work and ministry seem to fill up every other moment of our schedule. So this past week we decided that we would explore the Canal Walk that Jamie had wanted to experience since her days in Westfield. Well, we now have a new addition to our favorite local destinations!

From interesting architecture, to attractive landscaping, to boat and bike rentals, we highly recommend it as a family (or singles) outing. We are looking forward to seeing it in full bloom. Cayden loved seeing the ducks and geese and Keegan just enjoyed being outdoors.

Afterward, we stopped at Q'Doba Mexican Grill close to Monument Circle. We ate outside, so we were able to feel all the sights and sounds of an urban Friday evening.

Our happy family

Mommy's boys

Cayden David 2 years
Keegan Paul 1 year

Keegan's Orange

In spite of the way it obviously tasted, he still ate it!

This past Sunday was David's 34th birthday. The Dickenson family was with us in the evening service and then we all went to the Smith's home where Janette Castle had surprised David by making him a birthday cookie. We had a wonderful evening with friends. We also had the pleasure of having Jori and Jaimee Roose with us for the weekend.
David, Keegan, and I all had birthdays in th month of March. This is Cayden and Keegan playing with the car Keegan got for his 1st birthday from Grandpa and Grandma. The boys love it!
