We just returned from a great week on lake Michigan with many family members and good friends. From the almost empty beeches to uncle Pete's awesome breakfasts, it was a week that I did not want to see come to an end. I did not want to take the time to comment on each photo so I will give a short preamble. The week is mostly spent enjoying the primitive beauty in Manistee National Forrest. Good food, good fellowship, and stressful ROOK games are part of the daily routine. We take one night and go to town for dinner and very competitive go-cart races.

Enjoyed your pics! Great to see your fam again. I was supposed to get together with Wally and Kay, but it just didn't work out! We are going to be camping at Manistee in a couple of weeks--love it up there! Glad you had a good time. Can't beat Michigan in the summer can you?!
