We loved making new friends and these soldiers had much in common!
The Whitts lived out in the country, and it was hard to resist taking a long walk on a warm day. Their home was surrounded by green pasture land. It was beautiful.

It was neat seeing my aunt; I'm glad that she got to see you all. She is a dear lady and, yes, looks like my dad very much.

Typing w/ one hand...I was soooo GLAD when Phillip told me that y'all are blogging again. For we that only blog and don't have FB (due to the many viruses that killed our computers) MISS it when people quit blogging! I will be happy to keep in contact with you this way! Enjoyed looking over your blog. How fun that you saw Aunt Charlene and Aunt Norma Schmit. =)
